Creativ'Up, le hub transfrontalier pour les ICC

Creativ’Up is a program designed to accompany and support your innovation projects in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) within three cross-border regions: Hauts-de-France, Wallonia, and West Flanders. Cross-border collaboration is an opportunity for regional development, where the cultural and creative industries (CCI) play a crucial economic, cultural, and social role. They can accelerate social action and environmental and digital transitions and enable freelancers and micro-enterprises in the sector to innovate. Thanks to a network of multidisciplinary partners, Creativ’Up offers personalized support for short-term projects and large-scale pilot projects.

  • Technology network: University of Mons, University of Artois, HOWEST
  • Business network: The TWIST Cluster, Louvre Lens Vallée, Designregio Kortrijk
  • Creative and artistic network: Mons Museum Cluster, Le Fresnoy - National Studio of Contemporary Arts, Abby - Stad Kortrijk

This program is aimed at cultural and creative institutions, businesses, researchers, students, artists, project leaders, as well as representatives of higher education institutions, incubators, innovation support organizations, and public authorities.

Creativ’ Up offers a structured solution to support social, usage, and technological innovation and to support the transitions of CCIs. The project combines top-down and bottom-up approaches and promotes cross-border collaboration to unite the strengths of the regions and amplify CCI innovation.

Project activities include:

  • Inspiration and networking: Organizing peer exchanges, inspirational trips, and professional workshops to stimulate innovation and the cross-border ecosystem.
  • Cross-border pilot projects: Developing three projects to address specific challenges in the CCI sector, including technological innovation (AI, immersive technologies, blockchain),
  • Transformation of economic models, accessibility of technologies, sustainability, and analysis of the societal impacts of technologies. The project aims to strengthen innovation and creativity in the CCI sector in France, Wallonia, and Flanders by providing solutions to the sector’s current challenges.
